BOB BURNS & FRIENDS
The Halloween shows were live productions utilizing the talents of many professional special effects artists, art directors, sound technicians, writers and make-up specialists. Resulting from the efforts of the great crew. the shows have been written-up in Los Angeles Magazine, the Los Angeles Times, and several local newspapers (front page.) CBS, NBC, and ABC News have covered the productions.
- 1967-Frankenstein Lab
- 1968-Haunted House
- 1971-Return of Mr. Hyde
- 1972-Kogar Escapes
- 1973-Forbidden Planet -
This show, complete with Robby, the Robot, unfolded with a 30 foot cyclorama of the planets surface. Robby and the C57-D crew enter and confront the ID monster animated in rear projection in a cave. CBS news coverage and photo story in the Los Angeles Times.
- 1974-Thing in the Attic -
This years theme centered around a possessed young girl, confined to an attic room. As she summoned her demons, she levitated, her eyes glowing. CBS news coverage.
- 1975-War of the Worlds -
A 45 foot spacecraft had crashed into the back of the house. Its Martian occupant disintegrated a well wishing state trooper and exploring Martians terrorized the audience. CBS and ABC news coverage, Los Angeles Magazine coverage, AP National press coverage.
- 1976-Return of the Time Machine -
In the original prop from the movie, the time traveler leaves the present in his Time Machine and heads once again for the future. An explosion in time transports him into the cave world of the dreaded Morlocks. CBS news coverage; newspaper coverage.

- 1977-Heap Valley and Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde (Magic Mountain)
- 1978-Alien Invasion, Heap Valley, and Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde (Magic Mountain)
- 1979-Alien -
The audience is escorted into the Nostromos interior to view the Captains search for the alien presence identified on the spacecrafts monitors. The alien appears suddenly behind the audience. CBS news coverage and a Steve Edwards Show interview on the set of the Halloween show.
- 1980-Alien Invasion, Heap Valley, and Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde (Magic Mountain-new version)
- 1981-Nightmare Express, Goombahs, Heaps,etc... (Magic Mountain)
- 1982-The Creature from the Black Lagoon -
A paleontologist escorts the audience into a long cave where they encounter the Creature at a dark cavern in the back recesses of the black lagoon. CBS (KNXT) Two on the Town coverage.
