In the tradition of the old matinee serials Bob and his friends created a lovable, slightly absent-minded hero, complete with a sidekick, villain, damsel in distress and a country in need of a super-hero to save the day. They even included the mandatory plug for a premium toy, the OFFICIAL MAJOR MARS PLANET PATROL EMERGENCY ROCKET RESCUE RING!
